EDRIC MARCO C. FLORENTINO, cbne, pfpa, fis, finished his Bachelor of Science in Architectureat the Central Colleges of the Philippines. In 1985, he became a Licensed & Registered Architect. In 2006, he is among the first batch of Filipino architects to become a registered APEC Architect. Presently he is a member of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Architect Registry Monitoring Council (Philippines). In 2014, he became an ASEAN Architect.

He is one of the Principal Architects and Senior Managing Partner of E. Florentino3 + Associates (EF3+A) together with his Architect Father & Architect Daughter. He & his father, Edilberto F. Florentino developed an innovative building system called “Modular Ferro-Concrete System”, holding 13 patents & copyrights. Their building system is being widely applied on various projects by private and public sectors, nationwide.

Ar. Edric Marco C. Florentino became Fellow, UAP in 2002 and eventually became the Chancellor of the College of Fellows in 2010-2011. He became the National President of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP-IAPOA) in 2005 to 2007. From 1985 until today, he has taken active roles in UAP-IAPOA in various positions in the organization, from chapter level to national level. Due to his unwavering dedication and commitment towards the objectives of the organization and the profession, he has received numerous awards & recognitions from his peers and from UAP and other organizations. During his term as National President, UAP-IAPOA received a prestigious award called the “PRC’s Outstanding Professional Organization 2007” from the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC).

Ar. Edric Marco C. Florentino led and organized the formation of a council composed of nine (9) different professional organizations that focuses on environmental concerns & issues called the Council of the Built & Natural Environment (CBNE), where he served as the First Council President for 2 years. In 2014, he is the President of Philippine Federation of Professional Association (PFPA). He is a bonafide memberof the Filipino Inventors Society (FIS) since 2008. He is member of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Technical Committee for Architecture (CHED-TCA) since 2006. He is one of the Trustees of UAP Foundation since 2007.

In the international circles, he is actively involved in Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) and, currently, the Vice President for Zone B for 2013-2014. He had been a Convener of the ARCASIA Committee on Professional Practice in year 2009-2010 and the Chairman for Policy Manual for Hosting ARCASIA Forum and Congress for the year 2006-2007.

He is one of the members of the EXECOM (Executive Committee) of Eastern Regional Organization for Planning Human Settlements (EAROPH) International. During the 50th EAROPH Convention held in Australia on October 31, 2010, he received the EAROPH Golden Jubilee Award. He became EAROPH Vice President 2014-2016.

He is currently one of the Directors the Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community which he joined in 1989.He is happily married to Ma. Teresita T. Florentino, a Chemical Engineer. The couple has Three (3) daughters namely Systems Analyst Marian Epiphany Florentino-Rubio, with highest honor, Ar. Marian Eileen Florentino-Marudo, and Captain Marian Erika Florentino, a flight instructor.
